Studio Group                             (4th Wednesday of every Month)

Fancy yourself as the next David Bailey, Richard Avedon, or Cecil Beaton perhaps? Or are you just frustrated that your photographic society doesn't do as much studio & / or portrait work as Kempston Camera Club? Well, KCC is the answer! We are widely recognised as having a very popular monthly studio group, with keen and approachable photographers who are always willing and able to help. If you have a problem with lighting, posing, props, backgrounds or composition etc, just ask them. And don't think they'll make you look silly: they all know what it's like to start at the bottom themselves!

The main emphasis is on human portraiture, and we use a wide variety of models which even includes a few males! (So yes ladies, we'd love you to join us, and you wouldn't be our first female photographer either!).

To ensure all interests are catered for, we occasionally vary the proceedings. In those cases, we might feature small creatures, still-life set-ups, or 'environmental' type set-ups (which include musical instruments or vehicles for instance).

Naturally, we are well-equipped with professional-quality lighting etc, which enables us to produce attractive images that please both photographer and model.

So, why not become a member of KCC and get access to what is probably the best studio group for miles around? And it's not just for those in the Kempston and Bedford areas either! We have members from towns such as Huntingdon, Leighton Buzzard, Luton, Milton Keynes and Northampton, and from other places in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire. They know a great studio group when they find one!
